Enrichment Programming

At Parkland Preparatory Academy, all fieldtrips and enrichment programs support our curriculum and are aimed at deepening our student's educational experience and developing their social/emotional skills. Our enrichment activities include:

  • Yearbook Committee
  • School Newspaper
  • Art and photography clubs
  • Horticulture
Additionally, providing service to the community is emphasized through planned philanthropic activities. Students enjoy volunteering for such organizations as Feed My Starving Children and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Parkland Preparatory Academy provides opportunities for students to earn community services hours as well.

Parkland Preparatory Academy also participates in the PRO League (Positive Recreation Opportunities). PRO League is a structured, competitive sports league. It provides motivation for students to succeed and awards for Sportsmanship. Students participate in:
  • flag football
  • volleyball
  • softball
  • basketball

Inspire. Engage. Achieve.
